Some of the crew was lucky enough to get out during the work week, during business hours…..lucky!!!!  Turns our a skilled local photographer was looking for subjects to test out a new lens and she happened upon the crew dancing on Long Pond.  She went above and beyond and reached out via the contact form on the RWS website and shared these images.  If you’d like a print, contact me and I will put you in contact with her.  ALSO, if you have local wind sport pics you’d like to share, it’s easier than you think.  Get a hold of me.

25+ kites were on the water.  That’s amazing.  Foils, directional boards, twin tips.  The riders were killing it.  One of the pics in this gallery has a distant kiter in the background going three stories up on the Ramada.  Check it out

Seneca was the only place to be on this sunny beautiful day.  Windsurfers from Rochester Windsports, Cayuga Windsurfing Club, and Portland, OR. got in on some pretty good fall riding.

Big Winds a blowing at Long Pond brought out a dozen windsurfers in fantastic light, and pretty windy conditions.  Rich from Medina trucked the furthest to get some water time with the crew.  This is Gallery 1, for more, click here: Photo Page Gallery 2.

Mark R. is the tender of the Long Pond launch buoy’s.  Typically an advanced/expert launch due to the tight riding area, and master launch skills needed you don’t see many kites on Long Pond.  Mark joined the windsurfer fun on this day.
