Note worthy sesh at Buff today. The wind was nuclear at 35+ gusting into low 40s. it was raining and sleeting. Felt like someone was shooting me in the face with a bb gun. Was expecting just a 15min. survival sesh but after making it outside there were glassy 6 footers. The rain and snow were grooming out the usual choppy hellish crap allowing for some epic smooth drops. I’m tempted to say any lake waves over 6 foot need heavy rain in gales to make a truly epic kite surf experience in central NY…
