While my windsurfing day wasn’t spectacular yesterday (the kites won the day for sure), it sure was important that we were all on Seneca Lake. A local reporter was interviewing folks regarding the new plan to “transform the welcome center into an FLX hub”.
The video clip played on the Monday morning news, and prominently featured wind sports in it’s visual presentation, and an interview as well. This project was news to me, and I am curious about what Brad and some of the other FLX folks might know. Geneva has seemed to value our piece of the Seneca Lake shoreline puzzle, and I sure hope that continues, what a great venue. The biggest concerns to me would be increased pedestrians, and decreased parking access.
Watch the news segment at the link below. I even managed to windsurf into the video at the 1:19 mark. I’m planing towards the camera, and art is beyond me sailing away. We are over the silver pedestrian bridge. I don’t personally know any of the other riders, but well done. Stay tuned to this project.
