I’ve got a Quiverack that used to be my mast/big sail carrier back in the days of my SAAB 900. Since I got the Tundra, it is no longer necessary and only collects dust now. Fits a 490 mast and “summer sail” (i.e., 9.0-ish), and will hold ~4-5 masts and 3-5 sails (depending on size/type). Underfittings are designed for Thule racks, but it wouldn’t be hard to get pipe holders or something to fit a Yakima. I drilled vents in the bottom and then made vent cowlings to keep the rain out – helps sails dry out and not mildew. This is a rear-opening design, which allows for a small wave or high-wind board to be tied on the top without having to remove it to get the rigs out. Aero design, hands down the best rig carrier for windsurfing rigs.
Imported from the UK by me, back in the late 90s.
Pics pending (I have to dig it out…). $50.

Guessing that this is long gone but if it is still available, I would be very interested in your quiverack.
Thanks

Hi Chris,
I contacted Geoff to let him know of your interest in the Quiverack. He doesn’t check in often in winter. He still has it and when he gets a free second said he will reach out here. If you have contact information, send me an e mail from the contact page, and I will forward it to him. Keep checking back or contact me with any questions.

Actually, I put it back into service last summer so that I don’t have to load/unload big masts/sails (which is mainly useful in the summer months). Got a wider set of bars so I can hold the Quiverack and my canoe (and even a board, maybe a kayak but rack can’t stick out past the side view mirrors, so if a kayak and a canoe and the Quiverack could only be possible with a kayak holder).
I’ll likely do the same this summer, but will let you know if you’ll post a query come, say, May.
BTW, all, I’ll have a bunch of fairly decent stuff to sell this spring, as my buddy Stu sold his house in Hilton Head and I no longer have a place to keep the boards/sails/masts/etc. It’s mostly older stuff, but fairly decent gear in pretty good shape. Hardest part for me will be deciding what boards to keep – I really like my boards here, but the reason I had the ones down there was I didn’t want to sell them!
