My buddy and I are looking to get out next Monday and try our hand at snow kiting around Rochester. Any good locations anyone can recommend? We were considering driving out to the snowkite rally (http://www.kiteclubny.com/kiteboarding-lessons/snowkite-rally/) but would rather avoid 6 hours of driving if there’s something closer that has good conditions. Wind dependent…of course. 🙂
