Without the luxury of demoing different boards due to no local dealer support research seems to be our only hope to match board designs to local sailing conditions. One search on the subject found this enlightening thread where one sailor asks the right questions we all want to know.

I’m really intrigued by the Fanatic Blast Stubby Freeride in at 115L.  I have no plans to move on from what I have since I love my Mistral Screamer 116.  It is the perfect board for the wind and water conditions that I ride it in…..light 5.8-7.5.  The straight rails and narrower outline of the Fanatic Blast reminds me of my Screamer….but shorter.

 

(seriously…..link it again.  likely a good read)
