Hi all, what are best local spots for a south wind like we have coming this weekend? Canandaigua? I was considering driving to Buffalo but hoping for suggestions closer to Webster

I was able to uphaul and stand up on the board a few times last weekend but fell back before I could get forward motion…. Still working on balance but the wind may have been too light also. Hi I recently bought windsurfing gear and am looking for lessons to get started. I prefer someone who could meet at my home as I’m on lake Ontario in Webster and have direct access to the shore/launch area. also willing to meet elsewhere if better.

I have a full wetsuit and am looking to get started ASAP.

Thanks Doug! I have experience sailing but this will be my first time windsurfing… i’m ok with a more advanced setup that I could grow into though, even if it’s more difficult to learn at first. I dont have any equipment so looking for a complete setup or pieces that would be compatible if I need to piece used/new together.
