Doug, adding pictures is REALLY frustrating. I’ve tried twice now, and the forum keeps eating my post. 🙁

Missed out on the fun on Saturday, was just too busy, but did head down to Canandaigua today armed with a 9.5m sail and a 170L Go. Seemed perfect for the 10-15 knot winds we had in the early afternoon. Also put together a short video clip; gybes are surprisingly hard with the giant sail!

Despite the relatively slow activity around here, the windsurfing scene in the area is usually pretty active (in my opinion at least!)

I’m typically sailing out of either Durand with any winds from the north, or Canandaigua with a south wind. Hope to see you out there someday!

Heck, if they’re gonna get tossed I think I can find a good home for them with my parents to replace an old tie-on style Mistral boom. What’s the adjustment length of each?

That makes me thankful for our relative lack of “traffic” and congestion!
